Huaxia City Scenic Spot in Weihai, the first city of ecological and environmental protection in China, is an important achievement of Huaxia Cultural Tourism Group, which has repaired 44 mines in Longshan in Weihai for more than 10 years since the beginning of 2003 and combined environmental governance with tourism development. It has gone through the arduous struggle of "Yugong moving mountains" and "Phoenixing nirvana".The scenic spots built on each quarry now have their own characteristics. There is the Yu Royal Palace which shows the history and culture of the Yaoshun-Yu period most comprehensively, and the Xia Garden which shows the folk characteristics of Jiaodong intensively.There is an underground project built in the pit -- Weihai Civil Air Defense Education Center. The pit is covered with soil and green, and tourists visit the pit below.There are the first archway of China with the largest span built according to the terrain of the mine, the unique three-side holy water Avalokitesituation and various traditional performances such as acrobatics and equestrianism.Among them, "Legend of Fujin", a live-action show created in the mining pit, is a pioneer in the combination of natural landscape and cultural landscape. The audience can enjoy the all-dimensional cross-space performance of water, land and air by riding mobile stands that can run.
The scenic spot has been shortlisted in the "Top ten Theme parks with the greatest potential in China" and won the "Best Park Award of Creative Industry in China". It was also awarded as the first Shandong Provincial Cultural Industry Demonstration Park, national Cultural Industry Demonstration Base and National leisure fishery Demonstration Base by Shandong Provincial Department of Culture.
